Type ZP

Type ZP module is a very high performance 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, and Bluetooth v4.0 +EDR module based on Cypress CYW4339 silicon which features the latest in the Cypress wireless coexistence technology. Integrated support for Wi-Fi DirectTM, This technology provides Wi-Fi connectivity from your Type ZP-enabled device to just about any Wi-Fi enabled peripheral (such as wireless mice, keyboards, remote controls, headsets, speakers, displays and many other applications). Integrated support for these technologies also provides for application file sharing on Android devices, with most Android Version 4.1 (Jellybean) supported. Android version 4.2 (Jellybean) includes further refinements to Wifi Direct including persistent permissions enabling two-way transfer of data between multiple devices. Cypress's TurboQAMTM technology implements the highest data-rate 256-QAM mode in 2.4GHz and enables devices equipped with the BCM4339 to deliver 10 percent faster throughputs than 802.11n speeds when communicating with other 5G WiFi devices Advanced beamforming (IEEE 802.11ac/n), Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) code and Space-Time Block Code (STBC) support for better coverage and more reliable connectivity. Key high-throughput mobility interfaces, including SDIO 3.0, PCIe and HSIC, make it suitable for smartphone, tablet and computing platforms.
