The Type YD certified Wi-Fi module is an embedded network controller solution providing simple serial-to-Wi-Fi Internet connectivity for consumer-grade applications.

The Type YD certified delivers the ability to IP-enable any device with a UART or SPI interface. Sensor applications are made possible via the ADCs and GPIOs interfaces.

The Type YD certified network controller module provides device manufacturers with an easy-to-design solution for data acquisition, device management, and industrial control applications.

Each module offers a complete network controller solution. The Wi-Fi, TCP/IP network stack, security supplicant and other network application features are hosted directly on the module. Yet, the feature-rich Type YD certified module is packaged in an impressively small form factor that facilitates integration into size- and power-sensitive applications.
